Anytree Outdoors

How do you like it? I was gonna post the video they sent but it's not working for some reason but he said just cut the buckle off not the loops and use the loops to attach whatever you want. He said they made it that way for DIY.
Interesting. Cutting that buckle would be a task.

Here is how I have it set up at the moment.

I only got the system after my season was closed. So I haven’t had a chance to hunt with it, but I’ve tested it out and love it so far. I’m used to sticks so it’s a little learning curve, but so far so good. Planning on using it exclusively next year.

I like the aider but it sounds like my size 14 boots won't work good with this aider.

How is the quality do you think it's worth the money?

Do you think it's worth the money? Do you think that would be side loading? I'm really tempted to order. Is the quality and look well made?

I ended up getting it in the classifieds and didn’t want to pay retail for it. Seemed like it was expensive for what it was.

I go back and forth on the side loading thing. I’m working on a DIY tree squeeze at the moment to make myself feel better about the biner. But it’s definitely made me think more about side loading. This video put some of thoughts against it to rest.

I won’t be much more of a help since I’m only 10.5 boot size. But I will say that these open up just fine. And as long as you get the arch of your foot into the aider, you shouldn’t have a problem imo.
Now that you have the system would you buy it at full price??? I have been chasing a system for a long time that really works for me!! I don't like mini sticks with aiders and with this system I was thinking rappelling down would be awesome setup.

This is a similar system what’s your thoughts on this setup ?
I’ve thought about making myself a DIY version of this one to try out someday.

I’m very interested in this setup. This paired with rappelling. Unfortunately I don’t think anyone has had an update in a while on it. The Sladder thread/@Greysquirrel might have updated info.

The biggest difference is digging your toe into the tree vs the side straddle that Anytree uses. The side straddle takes a little getting used to, but more stable imo.

Yeah I like the Anytree system better for that reason the sladder is just like regular aiders.

The way I shimmy up a tree is very similar. The concept is sound. I haven't used this system so can't really comment on this exact product. First I wouldn't pay that much for it, second I have no interest in "platform" stirrups, not sure I'm sold on the aider strap oriented that way and the steps inline like that, and I'd have to do a lot testing at ground leave with the hook attachment before I'd trust it....having the aider strap oriented that way and inline step would make a climb on the gravity side of a leaner interesting I imagine but again that only speculation....but I have been using a system so similar I feel I'm "qualified" enough to make some assumptions

I just ordered a full setup I'm gonna give it a shot! They said I have 14 day to return!

Keep us posted on how its working for you. My concern is quietness in while climbing with it. I one stick and do it as slow as possible to minimize noise but I still sometimes feel like I'm a big ole black bear clawing up a tree. Nylon straps scraping against a rough bark may sound even noisier.
