Are saddle hunters automatically DIY kayakers?

Also guilty. Nothing like drilling holes in a brand new hull.
 
No DIY to it yet but I use a Jackson kilroy gen 1 which is a sit in but open top kayak. With the seat in the forward position I've hauled my 230 pound ass a 65 quart yeti with beer and snacks another 150 pound guy and equipment out in the lake a few times to hunt arrowheads. Biggest deer that's been in it was 165 dressed and that was a walk in the park
 
I have an Old Town Topwater 106 that doesn't get wet as much as I'd like. May try using it for access this year. Mostly stock. Some people get nutty with their kayaks.
