What back bands are you guys using? I’m curious to how you are connecting to your bridge or set up for maximum comfort on long sits. Thx

Never used one.. That said, the one I bought with my Flex has tiny little prusik's to connect it to the bridge. Slide them up or down the bridge to adjust the height on your back.

Doesn't quite roll up and store in ur pocket but with my bad back I take 1 of these....strap goes thru tether biner. Plastic buckle is weak...did away with the buckle and I have it set up with a prusik knot for adjustment

Where did you get that? I could see that being very useful on some lockon stands...

Ive been really liking the padded version of a standard back-band

I used a Tethrd one for a couple of years but I am really liking the TX5 one I recently got. It’s a daisy chain into the biner then the backband webbing runs through the daisy in another slot.

with the tethrd one through the biner I always had the bridge and backband make a pop noisy when sliding together. This daisy chain seems to avoid that issue since only the bridge slides through the biner.

Never used a back support before so I don't know how much weight gets put on one. Do you trust those straps on the back rest? I know if they'd break you are in a saddle but wondered how they held up? That is a genius idea and will be giving that a try!

I never had an issue with it but @colin.704 buddy tried it out and promptly broke it in 2 seconds...I modify to get it useable again....the strap isn't the best but not the worst....the frame can easily be modified. I'll look when I get home to see exactly what I did cause I don't remember exactly what I did....hahaha

The plastic buckle is the problem

I reinforced the factory stitching with my speedy stitcher and cut the 2 buckle pieces off. Added paracord prusik using the existing webbing loop.
I wear it like a turtle shell using the strap around my torso. I take it off at the base of the tree and pull it up with my bow/gun so I don't have to fumble with it while climbing. If somebody else comes up with a better way to carry I'm all ears. It's not the best but I need extra support more than the next guy because of back surgery

It reminds me of a less expensive JX3 set up LOL. Regardless, I am trying it out for the all day sits. Worth a try at $14.99

Someone with good sewing skill could probably easily attach it to the saddle in a way that it would be kinda just like a jx3 but I'm not that guy.

I have a Cruzr back band I got from another member of the site who cleverly modded it with a g-hook so you don't have to unlock your carabineer to put it on.
