Best advice for getting started with climbing spurs?

I was exclusively spurs last year but this year I have bolts, SRT, and will probably also buy beast sticks once they go back on sale. I'm excited to try other options. I like climbing with spurs but I don't like the removal part up in the tree.

For the money...modified Heliums are tough to beat. If you're willing to put in a little sweat equity, you can save some cash over the beast sticks PLUS you get a folding double step. Beast sticks are $240. Heliums are $100. The Beast sticks are 2" longer, but they are almost identical in weight with my modified Heliums.

Maybe your video will convince me ;-) It's tempting when they are $83 at Midway.
