Best saddle to pair with the Drey Dryad?

So I hunted with the Drey the last half of the season and loved it. However, with one sticking it is painful without the hammock deployed. I was wondering what saddle would work well with Drey and not affect it comfort when deployed. I currently have a Kestrel but I think something smaller and lighter would pair better with the Drey. Of course being able to wear it walking in long distances comfortably would be a necessity because that is one advantage of just using the Drey. If I can't find one that works I will just one stick with the hammock deployed.

Get his belt, one stick with hammock deployed.. that’s what I do when one sticking it’s more comfortable than any other saddle I’ve used… I get hammock bridge just long enough to go over my head and start climbing I don’t have to adjust bridge at height… pm if u have any other questions

Can't go wrong with a simple single panel. I used mine on a kite last year and loved it. Either gonna leave it on the kite or put it on my cruzr s for next year

That one was the main reason i sold my drey last season was i didnt give it time to get it figured out for one sticking. Needless to say i picked another one and have practiced climbing with it deployed and it works great. Dryad is supposed to be coming out with some wider leg straps which may help bring some comfort to one stick climbing with just the harness. As far as saddles to pair it i tried it on my classic and it would work just as good on any single panel saddle mantis, sidewinder, tactisaddle etc. Im trying to not use the saddle tho and strictly use dryad harness and hammock but we’ll see how it goes in the offseason.

I tried mine climbing 2TC. What I found using the hammock, I would raise my tether and then sit to raise my foot tether I was dropping 10". For you guys 1 sticking and getting 5 feet or so per move it's no big deal. But with only getting 16" per move 2TC it is.
I will check out the wider leg straps

I'm getting the feeling you guys are either hesitant or don't like deploying the hammock before you start your one stick climb. Why is that?

Do you really need a saddle with the Drey? Have you consider getting a minimal rock climbing harness? Its going to be comfortable enough for that 5-10 minutes climbing. I 1stick with a RCH and it work fine. Then I deploy my fleece saddle once I'm at height. This would actually give you 2 separate safety devices actually (with Drey, NOT DIY fleece).

It comes with a rock climbing harness. Personally I find it comfortable enough for one stick climbing
