Totally agree! I would never try to re-drill a last seasons hole.

I listened to an awesome pod cast that Dr. Bob Sheppard did with "Down South Hunting Podcast". He probably has as much and maybe more experience bowhunting whitetail deer than any man alive. Very impressive.

He’s had some very good places to hunt and he really works at it. I think I read he has been a part of the longest running bow clinic in the states. He has a serious scouting regimen and usually only hunts one or two timesout of the same tree. Here’s a picture of a pile of antlers he has;
