Bow mount for phone?

Any recommendations on mounting your phone to your bow? Would like to have video of arrow flight and hopefully impacts during hunting.

That's the video that got me thinking about the possibilities. Any real world reviews out there?

I have the painted arrow phone mount. It’s does fine, but really blurs the footage on the shot with the phone as expected…. I think in slo motion you could see the arrow flight and possibly impact, but I think it would be tough especially while hunting to reach around your bow and hit record and switch to slo motion mode while the deer is walking in. This is why I ended up no sticking with this mount. They did just come out with basically the same concept but for action cameras so a GoPro might be better on the stabilizer. Here is a review I did on the mag pro so you can see shots from 10-20 yards with it. (Using iPhone 13)

I decided to not use the mag pro and picked up a camera arm for my phone, and will either run an action camera off the tree or on the bow.

I’ve used some 3D printed mounts off eBay for a GoPro but have broken 2 of them so far. I found this a few days ago and ordered one. Hopefully it holds up better than the eBay ones.

Without some sort of image stabilization this seems to be a poor idea. Appreciate everyone's input, thank you all.
I guess it depends how much $$$$ you want to spend. I watched a number of kill shots on their channel and decided for me it was worth using an old phone and $50 to try vs $150 for a camera arm to use a Canon Rebel I already have but would have more to lug around and make noise with. I only want to see it for my benefit of where did the arrow hit, how did the animal react and did I remember accurately.

Take a couple and watch the video here: MAG-PRO Highlight Reel - Painted Arrow Outdoors

That’s spot on there! If I wasn’t trying to create content for YouTube and social media I would have stuck with the mag pro! Definitely one of the cheapest and lightest ways to start filming hunts.
The other guy on the channel with me is using the mag pro as an extra angle along with his cam corder.

Not for a phone but found an aluminum go pro mount vs the plastic 3D printed ones I’d used before. If you want to mount a GoPro to your bow this is the best option I’ve found so far. A rubber washer to set at the right angle and some loctite to keep it there.

A GoPro stabilizes much better than a phone? So you can actually see arrow flight and impact? That thing is slick. Will I just take the end of my Flatline stabilizer off and screw that thing on?

It’s definitely got better stabilization than most other cameras. Can definitely see arrow flight and impact with a lighted nock. And yeah just screw it onto the end of the stabilizer, it came with a little washer to adjust but I just used a rubber one and some loctite to keep it at the right angle.

Is this true for older models as well? I’ve got an old Hero 4 that we filmed bass tournaments with years ago. I know it won’t be as great as the new models but I’d def like to mount that to the stabilizer as you guys did.
