I guess it depends how much $$$$ you want to spend. I watched a number of kill shots on their channel and decided for me it was worth using an old phone and $50 to try vs $150 for a camera arm to use a Canon Rebel I already have but would have more to lug around and make noise with. I only want to see it for my benefit of where did the arrow hit, how did the animal react and did I remember accurately.Without some sort of image stabilization this seems to be a poor idea. Appreciate everyone's input, thank you all.
That’s spot on there! If I wasn’t trying to create content for YouTube and social media I would have stuck with the mag pro! Definitely one of the cheapest and lightest ways to start filming hunts.I guess it depends how much $$$$ you want to spend. Do u guys notice the phone holder in the new THP video with ranch fairy?
A GoPro stabilizes much better than a phone? So you can actually see arrow flight and impact? That thing is slick. Will I just take the end of my Flatline stabilizer off and screw that thing on?
Not for a phone but found an aluminum go pro mount vs the plastic 3D printed ones I’d used before. If you want to mount a GoPro to your bow this is the best option I’ve found so far. A rubber washer to set at the right angle and some loctite to keep it there.

Is this true for older models as well? I’ve got an old Hero 4 that we filmed bass tournaments with years ago. I know it won’t be as great as the new models but I’d def like to mount that to the stabilizer as you guys did. It’s definitely got better stabilization than most other cameras. Can definitely see arrow flight and impact with a lighted nock. And yeah just screw it onto the end of the stabilizer, it came with a little washer to adjust but I just used a rubber one and some loctite to keep it at the right angle.
