Bowtech shooters please help.

Lusk archery, I believe, compared them and he has a shorter draw. The SD was faster than than the SS and the Revolt at his draw. You can probably find it on youtube.

I Kinda like that guy. I've seen a few of his head to head comparisons .
Ill try to find it when I get home.

Yeah, he's just straightforward and doesn't spin anything and is smart and thorough. He's why I'm shooting QAD Exodus heads now. Although I worry about him shooting straight into blocks at close range indoors. You can get a nasty bounce back.

My Triax needed almost no tuning at all, I set the rest at 13/16 and adjusted the rest height just a little and it shoots bullet holes with bare shafts at 20 yards. So, for me, an easier tuning system would not have added any value. Other folks may have different experiences.
I get that, but if I made a cheap bow last 7 years a flagship might be the last one I ever buy. Being able to tune without a press at some point in the future is a real plus. I wasn’t trying to talk too bad about Mathews they seem to be having a real good run lately.

2nd season with a RevoltX it's a great bow. A lot of great bows these days but I like the grip and draw cycle those two must-haves. It could lose a little weight but couldn't we all, a few hunts into the season I'm used to carrying it.

I liked the grip that came on my Revolt, but I ordered and tried the more angled Clutch Control.

It is money. I have NEVER had a bow bareshaft through paper so consistently. Just slide your hand in as deep as it goes and don't turn your wrist weird...bullet holes every time. It's only 20 bucks.....

I can't believe that around a 1/4" difference makes it that much better. Tim Gillingham makes Bowtech clutch compatible grips at other angles also. Might try next year.

Well I ordered a Solution. I couldn’t really feel the valley on the SS I shot, and really like the zip of the Solution. Ended up getting a deal I couldn’t refuse, 15 months to pay for it and 200 off if I bought before November. Now just waiting to see if it arrives by archery season...

curious -- I'm a leftie and when I upgraded my bow, I just grabbed one of the 2 bows in stock (Hoyt TorrexXT) at my shop-- I figured with the supply chain issues that there was no way to order a custom bow and have it in by mid-sept/early oct. What odds do you give your bow making it?

thx

I told them I don’t care what color. Just RH 60lb. Bow shop told me 6-8 weeks. They have no clue the sh**storm about to come down upon them if they can’t deliver. Or at least how much future business it will cost them. Id say I’ve spent upwards of $10k in the last 5 years in outdoor products. Not to mention a few friends just as passionate as me. Hate to see a store miss out on that kind of business.

cool --- in all seriousness, let us know if they do or do not deliver -- the stinking pandemic supply shortages seem to just keep going on.....

(edit) -- also -- the hoyt is working out -- it is a sweet bow (and the color was not bad --- so I got that going for me, which is nice)

Been a BT shooter for 10 plus years and always happy with my bows. Easy to tune, replace strings and shoot. Currently Shooting the Reign 6. I have shot all of the new ones and they are very nice bows. The Solution SS would be the one I would get, if I was in the market, due to the 31" draw length. If you like how the BT's feel in your hand then you are buying a good bow.

I ordered a LH Revolt. They told me the same. 6-8 weeks. I had it in less than a month. It shoots awesome. Tuned super easy. Love the grip. Support your local bow shop! It's not their fault if the factory doesn't deliver. However I'm quite sure they will. I used to work at a dealer, The factory's always under promise delivery. That way the dealer's look like heros when it comes in early.

It really sucks being a lefty dont it? i bought a Bowtech SR6 2 years ago and only experience i had was drawing back a RH version lol. I liked the draw and let off. I can hold it forever. Only problem was they shipped me a 70lb and i ordered a 60. Had to wait all over again. I had my trusty hoyt element 2010 still so it wasnt a problem but out of the hundred bows on the wall at the shop 3 were lefty. ridiculous.

I’m hoping they pull through. Went ahead and put my old bow in the shop for a new string just in case. I think I’ve decided I want the bow no matter what and I understand there’s all kind of issues in this brave new world so I’m not going to be to hard on them if they can’t deliver on time. Just wouldnt be as likely to purchase the same brand in the future. And due to their lack of ethical values, in no way will I ever hire anyone who worked in marketing in the hunting industry between the years 2018- 2021 and counting.

Well my productivity for the day is shot. They just called and told me my bow has arrived. Oh God stomach cramps, diarrhea, migraine, I may have seen somebody coughing, anything to get me out of the office..... once I have it in hand I’ll post up the deets so y’all can know all about this awesome bow shop who delivered on their word.

Well there she is, OD green Solution. All decked out for the season, Trophy Ridge React 4-pin, whisker biscuit. May change that stabilizer though. Courtesy of Mikes Outdoors in Pensacola, (And a Wells Fargo Active Cash VISA) Actually showed up earlier than their low range estimate. Ordered 8/16 arrived 9/24. After reading some of the wait times online I was legitimately worried if I’d get it at all during the season cause, you know, COVID. I’m giddy...

Congrats on the new bow. Looks like you have killer! 5 week wait is pretty fair considering today's market challenges. Check out what you bow can do by looking at my post. First Saddle Buck. I shattered both shoulders.

I've been waiting on a 2-Tone Solution SS for 6 months, so I'd say you faired well with your wait time

I think part of it was I told them I’d take multiple different colors so that probably sped things up if they already had one laying around.

Maybe. I ordered a grey riser and black limbs and since its not a popular combo, it was never made in a batch. They just sent the invoice last Thursday even though i ordered the bow in april.

i ordered a revolt with gray riser and camo limbs and it took almost exactly 6 months to get it, hopefully yours shows up soon, if it hasn't already
