Bowtech shooters please help.

i ordered a revolt with gray riser and camo limbs and it took almost exactly 6 months to get it, hopefully yours shows up soon, if it hasn't already
I'm still waiting. Season opened today, so its a good thing i have my icon

I've been resisting the urge to buy a Zion in 60#. Once the season is over, however, I may not be able to resist the urge any longer.

If it had the same dead-lock as the revolt and solution i probably wouldn’t have even bothered to shoot the others. Hopefully they add that feature to the rest of their lineup.

So another year since this post. Wondering how your bowtechs are holding up? Still satisfied with purchase? Any problems?
I am looking into purchasing the bowtech revolt xl and just curious if you are still loving your purchase.

mine is still good to go....i wouldn't get the revolt xl unless i really needed it for draw length....my eye would be on SS34 and sr350

the revolt xl isn't as fast as the revolt x at normal draw lengths

My draw length is 32.5 my choices are always limited. I currently shoot a PSE vendetta xl

I picked up a used 360 RPM that had new bowtech limbs about a year ago. I shot it all summer and season to great effect. I'm a short draw (27") and low poundage (62#) so starting from a higher IBO helped me keep up some speed. I'm at 265 fps with a 415 TAW. I can't complain about that. Smooth shooter and dead in the hand. If I were buying a new bow, I'd start with the revolt and solution to test drive.

Hear you. I’m not that long, 30.5” but the struggle is real. I just barely fit my realm ss and if I’m honest the string angle I’m not loving. The Revolt XL has a 33” draw length. The BT Mag X is 34” IIRC.

Realm SS still going strong, zero issues. Switch clutch grip from low to high.
There is a guy on FB who makes custom bowtech clutch grips. 3D printed 9* wide grip makes the bow (SR6 for me) shoot way better for me. Im used to a wider grip from my old hoyt and its way more repeatable now. no weird flyers every 5 shots. i'll find the name and post soon. i think hes french or somethin.

Tim Gillingham?

No one can tell you what bow. Not your buddy and no one on line. You need to go shoot some bows.
Yes I know this is an old thread. The advice is still the same.

I liked the grip that came on my Revolt, but I ordered and tried the more angled Clutch Control.

It is money. I have NEVER had a bow bareshaft through paper so consistently. Just slide your hand in as deep as it goes and don't turn your wrist weird...bullet holes every time. It's only 20 bucks.....

I can't believe that around a 1/4" difference makes it that much better. Tim Gillingham makes Bowtech clutch compatible grips at other angles also. Might try next year.

I just bought my first bow, a Revolt, today! I was wondering about the Clutch Control grip option. Do you still like it better? I know so little about this sport that I don’t really even understand what difference this would make. Any information would be greatly appreciated!

I ended up taking all the grips off and just shooting the riser bare with tennis wrap. You have to experiment around to find what works best. I might put the Control grip back on after my next string change this spring.
