Buck Limit In Your State

Here's another I killed several years ago and had a bunch of friends and family question me why I wasted a buck tag on him. Answer was simple, he was a cool older deer that I felt like shooting. He was also the first deer I killed on my grandpas place after he passed away and it was the last one I killed there. My aunt and uncle got the place and I can't hunt there anymore. Regardless he was a fighter, had several bruises and cuts on his neck from fighting and that antler was broke off at the burr. Here in Ontario, for the most part, we are one deer only. There are some areas with additional tags which can go buck or doe, but they are limited.

Some people complain about this because generally people feel like there are more than enough deer to increase the quotas. I am fine with the limits as they are.

The simple explanation I would offer would be to say - don't come hunting in Canada it is terrible here!
