Climb Time and Height

One thing I wish I had mentioned in the video was the learning curve. THERE IS A STEEP LEARNING CURVE WITH SPIKES.

I almost sold mine after giving them a try for the first time. I hated, Hated, HATED them at first.

After the 3rd or 4th practice session, I got pretty comfortable with them. Now they're my go to method whenever legal.

The old kiwis were 150 less than the geckos. I don’t want this to turn into a kiwi vs. gecko thread but lol the kiwi are lighter and less money I haven’t limbed on either yet. Time will tell, what makes the geckos that more expensive? People with more knowledge than me “doesn’t take much “ chime in

That thread is inevitable. I'm gonna buy the new Kiwi spurs when they come out as I anticipate they will be better than the latest Geckos. Kiwi always seems like they are a step ahead. Time will tell.

No kidding. I remember climbing early on. I climbed to almost 30 feet until I realized it was harder to climb down. Glad I had a tether and linemans belt. I still like rappelling down even after years of practice.

Except the Kiwis are over 10% lighter.

Good news for the saddle hunter @g2outdoors. The top velcro strap is no longer glued and riveted on the Kiwi K2 Klimbers. Entire spur is modular now. Perfect for saddle hunter that likes to customize but demands quietness and elegance.

I’m just hoping they stay in the same price range

Rumor is there is a very good chance they will be even cheaper. A lot depends on the preorder demand. He offered @g2outdoors wholesale price order to saddlehunter.com if we have enough interest.

Ok. There may be enough demand for us to get an order together. Let me get more details and I'll start a new thread.
