Climbing Stick Recommendations

Climbing methods......hahahaha, where do I start? So, I've been "running and gunning" for many years using 4 full size Lone Wolf sticks and a Millenium M100 stand. This will be my third full year exclusively in a saddle. In that time I ran the Lone Wolfs for the first year. Last year I wanted to switch it up, go more compact and lighter, so I switched to Wild Edge Stepps with knaider. I went away from them for a variety of reasons, about mid way thru last season. Back to the Lone Wolfs (I did install a Double Step on top of 3 of them.) Again because I wanted to go more compact and lighter, I have tried multiple sticks this "off season".
First I purchased a 3 pack of Lone Wolf Custom Gear mini sticks. Found 3 wasn't good for me and packing was a little wonky with 3, so I sold them and bought a 4 pack with cable aiders. Liked them, they packed up nice, especially with an Ambush. Figured I would run them this year, they get me to a decent height and I was comfortable with them. Little bit of "ff" figuring how the steps needed to be positioned so I was stepping on to my platform with the correct foot.
Found I REALLY like a double step, so to scratch that itch I picked up a set of OOAL Shikars with a Versa Aider. Nice stick, very light, very compact. Bite hard into the tree with Amsteel daisy chains. I could pack them down nice and compact with a Predator and get to a very nice height with 4 sticks and versa aider. However, again there was the "ff", having alot of moving parts to adjust during set up & take down

Figured I had the LWCG minis & Ambush for long all day sits, Shikars and Predator for quick hit couple hour hunts. However, there was this little nagging voice in the back of my head that didn't care for all of the monkeying around (i.e. "ff"), matter of fact, I rather disliked it.
So, to try them out, figuring if I didn't like them I could sell them for what I paid, I picked up a set of Lone Wolf Custom Gear Double Steps. I have a review here: https://saddlehunter.com/community/index.php?threads/lwcg-double-step-stick-review.30071/
I'm currently in a tree in OH on hunt 2 of the year. I'll really run these thru their paces in my home state of PA this year, but as an FYI, the Wild Edge Stepps, the LWCG minis and the Shikars were all sold. I kept the original Lone Wolfs for a complete emergency backup, but these are going to be my go to. I'm pretty happy with these, paired with a versa aider these are checking all the boxes for me, light, compact and no "ff".

Sorry for the long reply, but these were my thoughts. The original Lone Wolfs are great and they will never go away, but I really can't see a scenario where the Double Steps aren't the superior stick for me and my use.

Thanks for all the awesome input. FYI I’m 6’2 and weight is about 225lbs. I’m not super worried about weight but of course the lighter the better but like I said when it comes to the stick weight I’m not sure I’m going to worry about a few pounds. Thanks again!

I am definitely a double step guy. As far as aiders go, on sticks, I have been really enjoying a “knaider” made out of 2” webbing. Very comfortable.

I run with 3 Heliums cut to 26”. I’ve had no issues with them but recently seeing lots of complaints about quality.
