Are you still running the rappel set up you were using in your 2TC video? No shiny-shiny there bro. Cmon, you know that's the very first thing I did when I opened it up!

Negative. Ditched it because I was already carrying everything necessary to get down. Are you still running the rappel set up you were using in your 2TC video?
That's what I have found too. It's just as easy to 2TC down as it is up, maybe more so.Negative. Ditched it because I was already carrying everything necessary to get down.
My thought would be yes if saddles wrapped more around the front side of our hips. Since the furthest forward most pouches can sit on most saddles is even or even behind the side of the hip it does make sense to me that it would be angled forward like shown. I guess you could try the pockets each way and see what you like more though.Man some people have some talent, that’s awesome looking.
Question, would the integrated pouches be even better if they were angled the other direction? I feel like that would make them even easier to get in and out of, almost like how a jacket pocket is angled back towards you.
Yeah I'm not sure that would be fun. Opening the other direction would put the opening behind your hips.Question, would the integrated pouches be even better if they were angled the other direction? A lot of guys loved the older Trophyline saddles that were shaped just like that. Back when they would round the bottom instead of the straight bottom. This saddle is almost a perfect replica of them. It looks amazing. I am sure that took some serious tinkering with to get it exactly how you wanted it to sit (geometry). I was never a fan of how the wider webbing went through the carabiner, but the old TL’s were pretty comfy. It also makes me think @Red Beard , all this time you were using the old school aerohunter evo, you should have been searching for those old school green family Trophylines!
He sure is@tailgunner you're like a sleeper cell saddlemaker wth???? That's awesome.
My first was a trophy line.it got stolen.and when I decided to make my own I knew already what I wanted different.the seat patern was the first.they are actually very different.only the webbing bridge is close. It's nothing special.but nothing on it is the same as anything els.its not for everyone .nothing is.but you gotta understand red is at the advanced end of the spectrum when it comes to ultra light methods of getting up a tree.and the cloak is dope.A lot of guys loved the older Trophyline saddles that were shaped just like that.
