Cold Weather rubber boots

I'm going to try wiggy's socks and boot liners in my rubber boots next year. If that doesn't work, then I'm gonna try some battery insoles. Chemical warmers don't get enough air to stay that warm, what I do when in a ladder stand is take off my rubber boots and put on a pair of arctic shield boot covers with felt pack boot liners and chemical hand warmers. They are light and I clip them to my pack for the walk in.

Feet stay nice and toasty, but that setup won't work for the saddle.

The Lacross Alphaburly Pros, 1600G are very warm. They are a bit heavy. Great boot to sit not so great for long treks.

Lacrosse Burly Air grip--uninsulated. polypro sock liner, smartwool expedition weight sock. I wear them to below 0 pretty regularly. If you put a felt insole in it helps a lot as well. I personally just find insulated rubber boots too stiff and bulky.

John, are these the ones ...or like the ones you use

I might try them, they weigh a bit more than the Sorel Alpha Pac Extreme I use but hey if they're warmer...
Our hunting season for whitetail often goes by without snow so I have yet to sit with the Sorels....?

Sorry for the late reply, but yes those are the ones and they will keep your feet warm. As mentioned I have over 20 pairs of boots including 6 pairs of mucks (2 of each of their hunting styles), 5 pairs of Lacrosse from 200 to 1200 grams, 4 pairs of old Red Ball of which 2 are also pack boots, 2 pairs of the new Dry Shod, 2 pairs of Browning, 1 pair of Ranger pack boots (yuk), 2 pairs of Rocky pack boots (not made anymore) and 2 pairs of Baffin Titans and the Titans are hands down the warmest.

I sorta went another way. I know for scent rubber is the best but my feet sweat no matter what. I went to uninsulated leather boots and wiggys socks for moisture control. Dry is warm!
