Comfort channel

Eh... it doesn’t stay in the channels. It pops out and hops to the next one. Pretty much tries to get back in the middle channel everytime. Needs bigger balls or something....

I’ve never had the problem on mine personally. Or anyone else that hunted from one this past season. Not saying it’s impossible but doesn’t sound right to me.

Not mine. It stays put under tension it’s just when I take tension off of it that it sometimes moves.

I could see with the increase in angle from a real high tether the possibility of it wanting to move up under tension but other than that I don't see how it could move with tension and normal tether height. Don't have enough time in it to see any issues outside of it moving with no tension.

I think you are right. There probably are situations and setups where it might want to pop out. I can only go by the testing we have done and as far as I know we all run fairly low tethers. I’ll try the real high tether and see if that does it.

that’s possible I like my tether at around forehead height.

Sorry, but it’s not a design flaw. It works exactly like it’s supposed to. If you stand and move around it could pop out, but it’s not designed to always be locked in and that’s what makes it adjustable is when you pick your weight up you can change it. When weight is applied it stays in the channels just like it was made to.

Ya, like I said flawed.....

Since taping mine I have no complaints. I was in it for 2 hours this morning and for the first time, using a saddle, I had 5 deer from 8y to 42y. Loving it

Taping it? Like duct taped your channels? Which part of the phantom did you have to tape?

he is making the eye on the utilibridge smaller.

Which probably makes it harder to change channels also but that’s just an assumption.
