I've never had an issue with a toboggan but I've also never had to drag one up a long, steep incline. If I tag one on this private land I'm hunting this year I'll see how bad that is...
The hawk is awesome.Bought the Hawk cart last year and I don’t know how I got along without it.
Good to see all the love for it. That’s the only one I can find around me lol.The hawk is awesome.
guess you didnt see what I wrote in the first post.Pack it out. I have a cart and rarely use it. Only bring home what I need "meat". Bring your bags and backpack to carry it out. Less headache later and less to carry around
I guess not. My apologyguess you didnt see what I wrote in the first post.
2.5 miles it's getting packed out, or put on a e-bike and cart, I'll take the ticket for either if it's that farThere are many states where deer have to remain whole until they are physically checked in to a game station.
How much did this set you back by?The hawk crawler is amazing. I've owned just about every other cart on the market over the last 20 years AND this thing blows the rest away by a LONNNNGGG shot! Light years better then dragging with a sled too, unless you are in deep snow and using snow shoes also.
The dual suspension allows it to have 100% of the weight carried by the frame AND not you. Pivots, great tires, just awesome.

Lucky duck…are you moose hunting in Maine?I just bought a Hawk Crawler cart per recommendations on here but have yet to use it. I'm going moose hunting in a couple of weeks so it may get a workout hauling moose quarters. I'll let everyone know how I made out when I get back. Hopefully we will drop one in a tote road and be able to back right up to it with my truck to load it but that's not the way it usually goes. Lol.
Yes. My brother got drawn for a cow moose tag for the last week of October. If we are not successful, we can go back the following week to try to fill his tag.Lucky duck…are you moose hunting in Maine?
I’m so jelly. How are the skeeters and ticks up there this time of year? When I was there in September I wanted to just set myself on fire to get rid of them.Yes. That's a great deal. I paid $200 for mine.I think Sheels has the Hawk Crawler on sale right now for $159 if I'm not mistaken. I used one for the first time this year and couldn't believe how well it rolled through the woods. My friends cart had the same problem with the handle wanting to fold over. I think it's a common problem with them. Leave it to Hawk not to address it. I think it's a pretty easy fix though, all you need is a couple of extra nuts and bolts.
