Deer Hunting Log

This is my format for my excel log. I've been using this format for years now, I just start a new tab for the new year. This is the first few entries of 2018 log.

so far so good - been playing with the format / questions, and so my backend sheets file will likely need some fixing too as I build out more hunts.
 
I’ve been creating a form and modifying the sheet to fit my needs as well. Thanks for sharing!

I tweaked my log a bit, but it's more or less the same.

For guys wondering how to use this thing...

  1. Open the form in a web or mobile browser
  2. Make a copy of the form. Copy it to google drive.
  3. Open and tweak to your liking. You can add/remove fields and sections to your liking. Play with it a bit to customize to your preferences.
  4. Once done send yourself a link via email using the SEND button in top right corner.
  5. Open link in browser/mobile browser.
  6. Save the link. Now you can easily pull up the form from the browser.
  7. Fill out form during/after your hunt.
  8. Submit the form. You don't need to make a copy of the form. Just keep submitting it to the same form.
  9. Once you have responses you can go back to the saved google form and view the responses and export them to google sheets.
  10. Enjoy!!
