Anybody recently made adjustments to their late season clothes to accommodate bridge loops/ linemans belt? found one post and @kmleach came up with some cool blueprints but anybody have a finished product?... ive seen the versa skins can come customized but it seems like it should be pretty easy to do with some velcro or snaps/buttons to my current setup. not diggin the cold air and bunched up clothes. biggest con for saddle hunting for me. i get cold easy.

Bibs, then stuff jacket in bibs.

Sometimes the simplest solution is the best answer.

I was half tempted to take my jacket into a tailor to have them add the slits like the Versa skins have but honestly tucking my jacket into my bibs sounds so much easier and cheaper. Hmm now I’m gonna have to toss them on to give this a try.

I can take some pics later today perhaps, and never got to actually try it during the season, but noticed that the pockets on my Sitka Incinerator bibs have the pass through pocket so you can reach your pants pockets under your bibs from the outside - they also work great for passing bridge/linesman's loops through (assuming you have a detachable bridge you can pass through and reconnect. Just wore saddle outside of bibs otherwise all season.

my saddle doesnt fit too good outside of my clothing, definitely not with my jacket tucked in. also, the pants i wear are down insulated so when the saddle compresses the feathers in the back my butt freezes. i just figured id ask if anyone has done any modifications. not interested in buying anything Sitka (could buy a brand new flagship model bow for the same price as a top/bottom) and preferably no new clothing at all.

Yep. Extended the pocket access slots in these old coveralls. This is winter me...after packing on survival fat.

Damn right! Hypothermia, frostbite, starvation...all very distant but sorta real threats here in East TN. Dont you watch discovery channel?

I did not pursue it much further after that post, ending up going a different direction. What would be interesting is a pair of bibs with a built in saddle on the inside, something very simple made from seatbelt webbing would get the job done I bet. I linemen’s belt could be integrated or worn separately over top and then taken off or loosened after you’ve hooked into your tether.

might have to make my bridge "unfixed" so i can do coveralls. looks warm. thanks for the picture. you are pretty good at stitchin there. lots of cool projects on here you started.

Glad to see you were able to get that christmas tree under control.... looks like a doozy
How do they get those things in there the first time?! That box eventually exploded when I walked past it, creating enough of a breeze to max out the obvious load bearing masking tape. When it did explode, parts ended up "missing". That monstrosity was discarded and a newer, sleeker, more sexy tree was brought in.

Anymore pics of diy clothes? some tremendous talented members. Maybe there is a thread on here I missed?
