I put a stick on each side, my tether and some other stuff in pouches and my saddle wants to fall down when I take the linemans belt from over my shoulder to around the tree. Sometimes when I'm moving the lineman's belt up the tree and climbing too. What's the solution?

Some are using a battle belt. Other option is suspenders.

I don’t use a mantis so I’m not sure about the stock belt but I read a lot of problems with vertical movement.

its just kinda annoying. doesn't seem like that much weight on the sides. I guess i probably need to go back to a small pack and use that for my platform and maybe the sticks too. Was just looking for more simplicity.

What position are you attaching your leg loops? For walk in and climb I attach mine to the belt and for in the stand I move them to the loops near the micro adjusters. I was trying to walk with the leg loops in the lower position and my belt would constantly be pulled down by my legs.

Battle belt mod. I did it and it made a world of difference.

I don't hang anything on my saddle and still have to use suspenders really not a bad option once you get used to it.

i never understood putting stuff on the saddle. I want mine without anything on it at all.
It's what I carry my climbing sticks and platform up the tree with (paracord loops tied onto molle loops of saddle). Granted I dont walk in with the hanging but it works great to hold those items so you're hands free to work at climbing.

Basically this is what I do when climbing except my platform is attached to my backpack
