No, Dane made me some custom leg straps using 1" webbing. I run the webbing through the loops then slide them close to my back pockets. Keeps the leg straps from sliding down.
Sometimes I carry two pouches if I am packing a few tree steps. Somtimes I use 3 steps to start then go to sticks.View attachment 86545View attachment 86546
That's clever, I like that. I've got to dig out my Recon and do the same thing for my leg loops - my Cobra buckles are too heavy to not be tied to my top panel somehow.

I’ll admit it, I don’t think there is such a thing as a “hybrid” set up. Using a saddle while facing the tree with a tree stand is still a tree stand. You’re just swapping a saddle for a full-body harness.

Having said that, I love the TX5 Minimalist 2.0 for what it is. I have the mesh version. Feels like I’m wearing nothing. I love how it deploys and stores.

If I didn’t have a Lonestar and wanted a Minimalist for your purposes, I would ask Matt to make me a mesh Rayder with the tabs and loops so I could fold it up like a Minimalist and have the leg straps like normal I think.
