That’s the exact approach my fiancée and I took with our beagle pup.

His name is Frankie but I often times call him Frank in public.

“Stop touching yourself Frank.”

“Frank you can’t poop right there.”

You get great looks
 
Justus. It sounds like a badass and it’s a play on hunting with just us.
 
I could track down the fool at the ramp out west that refused to put his cocoa lab on a lead. Bubba was on lead at my son’s side when the dumbass dog came barreling at them growling.....Bubba never came off lead and the cocoa left a frightened, bleeding mess

I really don’t care what you name your dog, but put a lead on it at the ramp.
 
My black lab is named Deuce. His father short name was Chance. They were both the only black male in mixed color litters. Since Chance was such a good dog I picked the black male and named him Chance’s Deuce is wild. My last black lab was named Magic. Last chocolate was Belle. Good luck coming up with something original.
 
Not a duck hunter here, but how bout just plain old "Phil" from the duck commander...
