Shot the EZV for the past year and a half or better, and I've put a lot of arrows downrange with it. My brain was able to figure out the size of the target I needed to shoot at fairly easily, I loved the open picture sight, and I was able to shoot with a bit of consistency inside of a 1" pvc pipe at 20yds. I could very consistently hit the vitals within 40 with the V, and most of my strays were vertical not horizontal. I hunted with it last year, and did not once have a deer broadside enough to "frame" properly, but used my guestimation of the size of the deer to imagine a basketball inside of it.
That being said, I went back to a pin sight this year. I shoot easily 200 arrows a week, and spot shooting was difficult sometimes, i wanted something else. Since i traded out my Elite bow and went back to a Bear, it was time for a bit of a change. I wound up putting a 5pin CBE tactic micro on, and removing 2 of the pins, setting the rest at 20,30,40. I like to target shoot out to 40, but my max deer range is 30yds. Thought about going to a single pin, but like already mentioned here, the movement of having to slide my sight in the heat of the moment wasn't appealing either.
The V is a good sight, and honestly if I had better 3d targets and didn't spot shoot as much, I might not have traded it.
