Florida buck down! “Smoked a MONSTER”

First saddle buck down! Think he’s my best FL deer with a bow too. It’s a good day. Now time to pack him out!

Nice shot!

What's a buck weigh down there?

I killed one that was 165, I’d guess this one was 130ish. He’s mature but where I was hunting I don’t think they’ll get to 160s. I think 130-150 is prob average for a mature buck in my area, panhandle has killed some 200lb deer

That was exit, quartered away a little. But the rage did him in, down in about 60 yards

Nice shot. People hate on mechanicals but the 3 deer i've killed with Rage hypodermics have all died within 60 yards and had phenomenal blood trails. I'll be packing them in my quiver again this year.

Wow Dang Fine FL buck right there! You have got all of my 25 years worth of hunting FL bucks beat. Congrats on the nice buck. I'm loving what I am seeing post regulation changes where we went to a point limit on bucks. Seems like a better quality of buck is being harvested and quite frequently seeing very good buck harvested.

Always shot mechanicals and rage for last couple years. Never lost one because if the head. Broke offside humerus and had passthough on a big KY doe last year. I have several chisel tips and just got a pack of trypans. 420gr GT pierce arrow, 283fps out of this destroyer 340 on 63lbs, that’s my backup bow. My realm is a hair faster. If it ain’t broke don’t fix it, I wreck em down with mechanicals!

Quartered and packed, headed home. Typing at stop lights. Full story soon

That is a slick canoe setup. How long does the battery last on it. I run a yak for my water access point, but it can get really sketchy in big gator territory during dark time access and departure.

Great Buck and Nice Shot!

I love the Rage Hypodermics too. I pull 65lbs and at 35yds I blew through the offside shoulder on a quartering away buck two years ago. I have recovered every deer I have shot with them and most all of them fell within eyesight.
