For those 2 panel-ers

I spent a few hours in both these Notch saddles today. I think I like this Floating D model better than my Kestrel. I want to test it some more before I make a definitive decision. But as of right now, I LOVE IT!
And the "bridge" wasn't too short? I'm very interested

What size did you get and mind telling us how big your waist is?

God I hate this site!!!

I know. I just added this to my cart and then was looking around on the site to try to spend another $50 to save the $17 shipping. I'm just going to close my browser for the night and hopefully by the time I open it back up you guys have bought all of them.

I can wear this Notch into the woods with no need at all for suspenders or the lineman’s rope across a shoulder. Very comfortable in the tree. YMMV
Saw somewhere that they weigh around 3.25 lbs. Seems like the nice thick waist belt would hold that weight effortlessly

Will I be able to put my dump pouches on the rings in the back? I think so but can't determine the size

Bridge was perfect for me. I haven’t measured it but seems the same as what I’m used to with my Kestrel.

Do you think if you cut the d rings off the double d model and made an amsteel prusic adjustable bridge that it would work or are the long straps coming off the saddle to the d rings gonna make it to where the amsteel will be really short and wont have much sliding movement to turn?

I attached my dump pouch to the left side lineman’s D. I also put a Petzl carryall (I think that’s the name of it) between the right lineman’s D and the first ring. I carry my platform on that.

You would need to cut the straps shorter

Petzl Caritool, maybe?
