The SH Membership has gone live. Only SH Members have access to post in the classifieds. All members can view the classifieds. It was bound to happen. No harm no foul. We all try to be respectful and open minded here, but that's not for everyone just like scent control isn't for everyone.

For me....
Garmin GPS: I've been using a 60cx for nearly a decade. I would regularly scout after season (before kids) and just walk the major trails with the GPS recording my routes. Upload to Google Earth and you can see the network of trails in relation to the terrain. To go with this, the website www.gpsfiledepot.com. If you have a Garmin handheld this is a valuable website (I'm not sure what other units the maps will work with). Free terrain map and many states have maps with public land boundaries. I used the public land maps in Colorado while elk hunting. Compared to the paper maps, the GPS was dead on.
XOP Climber: I picked this up 2 years ago. Compared to my old steel climber, this made a world of difference with my mobility. I'm hopefully a saddle has a similar impact.

Game changing items for me are:
Crossbow...bad shoulder has kept me from shooting my bow. This opened up a whole new way of hunting. Don't get old guys!
Range finder with angle compensation. Always wondered why I was hitting high.
Scentlock coveralls. Have always been a fan but this year I followed John's care instructions. What a difference.
Last but not least isn't an item but a tactic.....pre-season scouting. The more you put into deer hunting the more you get out.

Speaking of game changers - if we could hunt with some of the 155mm rounds I've been shooting all week. That would be HUGE.
I hunt swamps and prefer swamps over hill country. Twenty or so years ago I discovered neoprene insulated waders. I live in the upper northeast , I can cut through rivers and streams in December and then sit on stand for hours without feeling cold. It always feels strange being able to do that with every ounce of my common sense telling me you're going to freeze to death if you get wet now. Many bucks and does I have taken because of someones awesome invention.

) ASAT camo- been using it since it came out from Canada to Florida. I always see game and they don't quite know what I am! Also a spot and stalk elk hunter turned me on to Null a colostomy internal deodorant pill that neutralizes bodily scents.
I am going to try Nullo next season. I believe it is just chlorophil, so there shouldn't be any side effects to worry about other than green poop. Lots of guys have said they use it, so we will see.

It has copper in it too. It is expensive compared some some chlorophyll pills I used chlorophyll this year. I have no idea if it worked. Used it by faith based on others testimony. Copper has an anti bacterial effect. We use it in pig feed.
I am still loving my Dan's Froglegs. But, I found out today that you need to be careful about water depth. I hit a soft spot in the creek bottom and sank to my waist.... they hold water IN just as well as they keep it out! I got most of it out, but walked about a mile and a half back to the truck with about 3" in the boots. Quick end to a scouting trip. But, I hadn't seen much sign other than pig and hunter sign.

I didn't have it as bad as you @IkemanTX but I almost went in over my boots a couple times last weekend. And then there was the one time where I jumped across the creek and went up to my knee in muck. I didn't think I was getting that boot back lol. I have to make sure I take my hip boots out with me from now on.
How do you like the fat tire bike? does it traverse well over rocky terrain is there more resistance with it vs a regular width tread? how does the 7 speed compare to a standard tire 21 spd?
