few on sale but AK and cheap don’t mix. Maybe Maven too.

I might just go with vortex diamondback. I know they aren't great but my brother just informed me he has a pro deal so brings the price down quite a bit. Going to talk it over in a week and a half when I'm out fishing with him
Didnt realize Cameraland had scopes.Maybe check out Arken. Camera land NY has a

It's been a few years since I checked, but Natchez used to sell refurbished Nikons as well. I think I've got a Monarch from there.AAOptics sells refurbished Vortex Optics, I’ve bought 3 from them and have been very happy with the purchases. I have to Viper HD 2.5-10x and a Razor 2-10 on my hunting rifles, I carried the Razor on a .30-06 for a week on Kodiak last year. I like 2 and 2.5 on the low end because I have a large enough field of view to snap shoot with.
Right now a Viper HD 2.5-10 is $340, I have two. One of those has been on a .30-06 M70 featherweight for about 5 years and is working great. I recommend Talley rings.
I love me some Burris. Cost less than Leupold or Vortex and at least as good.
I'll have to look but I think I have Vortex rings on an AR. Otherwise I've pretty much settled on Leupold turn-in rings and Dead Nutz one-piece mounts. For this application I'd suggest a DNZ 1-piece setup. Mine have been bulletproof. For rings stay far away from vortex (fight me!).
Yeah I have talked to him a few different times but it was camera or lens related. Good guy to work with for sure.Yep, call and speak to Doug. Huge supporter of hunting. They have some great deals and at time better if you call.

Their pro series rings are awful. No lapping in the world could fix them. and it wasnt a lemon. all three sets i bought were the same problem from 3 diff vendors. i called customer service and his set he pulled off the shelf was doing the same thing. So bad you can see 1/8" of light through the gap and have to push the scope in to bottom section to get it to sit flush. at that point how can you level it if the sides are biting in.
yea the packaging is kinda misleading too. It says something like made in USA but then smaller letters "with global parts" or something like thatThat's pretty bad. I haven't seen any similar issues with any of my rings, from any brand, and I've still got a bunch of cheap rings I bought before I knew better. I expect better from Vortex.
