good value/inexpensive long eye relief 3x9 rifle scopes?

Their pro series rings are awful. No lapping in the world could fix them. and it wasnt a lemon. all three sets i bought were the same problem from 3 diff vendors. i called customer service and his set he pulled off the shelf was doing the same thing. So bad you can see 1/8" of light through the gap and have to push the scope in to bottom section to get it to sit flush. at that point how can you level it if the sides are biting in. Everyone should give warne a try if you havent. American made and amazing quality for the price. Vortex rings are not all american made. THose pro rings def arent and for the absurd price they are asking i just dont get how they have such good reviews everywhere i looked. i like their warranty and ive thought their glass was decent but havent bought anything from them after the ring situation. i realize buying american made glass is out of most peoples budget, including me, but rings arent. DNZ are made here too and leupold everything is USA i believe. Good on them.

Vortex Precision Matched Rings are rebranded Seekins rings, and those Seekins rings are the bomb. I'm using them and Spuhr (two piece) Hunting mounts, and really like them both. Spuhr are ever so slightly lighter, but harder to set up. Both had perfect machining. As the name suggests, precision matched rings are cut from a single block of aluminum so the halves are a perfect match.

THats why i mentioned it was the pro seriies. i know guys who use the precision rings and trust their word.
Why not just buy seekins rings? seems like vortex is charging more for their rebranded rings than seekins is for their own.
my scope and rifle arent nice enough to throw $150 rings on it. i live in a straight wall only state (mostly). i think the warne maximas cost me $50 and they needed zero lapping. i was blown away by how nice they were.

I fell once and lost zero and it cost me a dandy buck. Leuopold rings.

So I wanted something more robust, and did exactly that...I bought the Seekins (and on a good sale to boot).

I think Warne rings are fine. I'm not here to argue that at all. I'm just sharing what I know so people will understand what's up when they hear Vortex rings are great, or see a graphic like this:

constantly blown away by the amount there is to learn/ depth of knowledge on here. part of me was thinking rings are jsut a chunk of metal, how much can they really matter, jsut grab something that fits the scope, but i suppose it's more complicated than that

I ended up going with the diamondback and got it sighted in today. It's better than the guy behind the trigger, but I'm pretty happy with these groups (and with this rifle/scope combo) the first time shooting my 300WM (100 yards, they are all 3 shot groups, two extra ones in the first pic are me sighting the rifle in after getting it close at ~40 yards). I wish I hadn't rushed the shot in that last group lol I was too excited after the first two shots.
