So, I ordered a silky pocket boy with replacement blade on Saturday. I didn't research well enough. I don't want a "pull only" blade. So, I decided to just get an extra blade for my Bahco Laplander.

I realized I didn't want the thing 90 minutes after ordering. So, I call and they are closed. I read their cancellation policy and it is within 1 hour of the order during business days (M to F). I email them on Saturday (same day of order) via the site form and direct email to tell them also to cancel within 90 minutes of my online order. This should be no problem. If they only need 1 hour while they are working, then 90 minutes on an off day shouldn't be an issue.

8:30 AM Monday morning I get an email "unfortunately, our warehouse is already busy completing your order, so we can't cancel". Later that day, I get an email saying the items have been shipped via FedEx. However, there's no tracking number sent. So, they haven't actually shipped yet.

I'm gonna call BS. They could have easily cancelled my order. Or, if they can't under these conditions, then their system stinks.

Cabelas, Bass Pro, and REI are like this now also (although I did get one REI order cancelled once). At least REI has an otherwise great return policy.

Eders the same way. Its all good and friendly until you want to cancel something.

The big box stores make millions a yr because they “can’t cancel”. Most folks don’t bother to do a return.

Yep, this order was $100, so it is worth it.

With return shipping and the like, folks aren't returning $20 items as often. So, if they can't cancel those small orders, then they are getting $ for things people aren't going to use or return.
