Anyone shooting the Mini with the included arrows using 100g heads?
I think that total arrow weight to be 375-380g?
Yes. Blazes through big midwest deer with a double lung shot at least out to 40yds ( I haven't and won't shoot an animal farther) using a small 4 blade head. I use 100gr. Tooth of the Arrow. Slick Trick makes something similar and I'm sure there's more companies with similar heads. I probably wouldn't aim for a shoulder with that set up but I don't anyways.

The mini is equivalent in KE output to a 70lb/30”/ibo330 compound. I know this because I shot the same weight arrow out of the mini and a bow with those specs, and the speed was within a couple FPS.

I don’t remember exactly, but I think my arrows are 480gr and were shooting 280fps.

You should be shooting 320 or so with the stock arrows and 100gr heads.

Random thought, one thing I became aware of this year is a close range 10 o’clock shot from a JX3 has the potential to send a Mini cam into your leg / kneecap. I checked with practice aiming in the stand. Admittedly unlikely, but it could happen…. imagine that would be uhhh problematic.

Yes - Muzzy Trocar HB 100g. Usually get complete pass through. Have gone through shoulders no problem. Farthest was ~47 yards with half arrow hanging out exit. Midwest deer. No idea what total arrow weight is. I just put them on and shoot.

Can you guys examine your Mini? Look at the trigger assembly and buttstock. How hard would it be to flip it 180? Like, if I want to convert a right hand Mini to a left hand Mini, would it be a simple removing of the trigger assembly and flip it? Or is this actually really complicated.

I remember one time when a lefty wanted to buy a mini from me, and I took it apart to swap it and send. They backed out. It sat in a bucket for a while until I got it back together.

If I remember correctly it was a pain, and required a couple calls to Jerry. In which he suggested I send it to him.

My memory is crap and some of these details could be off. But I think the southpaw was @Red Beard haha!

I imagine if sending it to Hickory Creek, you only need to send the rail/trigger assembly?
Email/call Jerry, I've experienced nothing but excellent customer service.
Good luck, I hope you get it buddy!

So just wanted to confirm something. Can the power stroke be adjusted or it's one setting? I could of sworn someone saying you can adjust the length of the rail to different draw length.

I do not think this is possible. As an aside, is it possible on any other crossbow?

I think on the mini it is possible. I'm looking at some of the pictures on their Facebook page. The trigger assembly are not the same on all of them. The 3 large holes on the rail. Sometimes the trigger is at the center and other it is at the end. So l think you CAN adjust how long the strings is pulled back.

The draw loc mechanism can go on compounds, which would have a variable draw length so I believe HuumanCreed is correct.

I just emailed Jerry the other day with this question. Here’s a copy and paste of his reply.

you will need to purchase a right handed BullPup and change some other parts on the bow. Thank you for your questions
