How do you carry your platform?

I carry mine inside my pack to walk in and then clip it to my saddle for the climb.

Platform inside the Predator Pack. I have one Tactical Taylor pouch attached and one Mini Beast Stick on the outside of the pack. Thats it. 8 pounds 2 ounces. Tried to attach pic, but thats not happening.

Looking to upgrade the pack back straps. Tethered may be offering something in the near future. Looking for suggestions.

I strap my 4 cut down lone wolf sticks to my pack with the predator platform. At the base of the tree I use the genesis3d printing stick clips for 3 of the sticks and the predator clip for the predator. Hang the first stick and then up I go without having to "unstrap" things off of my pack.

Here it is, cameras, cam arm, fluid head, straps, stick, food, range finder, release, emergency kit, backup batteries, sd cards, knife, bags for heart and liver.

Badlands approach pack. Sticks strapped to it. Added a couple buckles to the pack and predator pack, snaps on pretty nicely. Works well early season. I change packs when more clothes are needed, then gets a bit cumbersome.

I strap my ridge runner to the back of my pack, and carry my sticks in with my linesman belt like a sling. I climb with my pack on and hang it on my gear hanger while standing on the top step. Then my platform is easy to grab and hang

I got this for $34 on Amazon. Feels sturdy. I am brand new to saddles so my platform and climbing sticks haven’t arrived yet to try it out. I’m thinking predator in the front pocket and two sticks on a side in the compression straps.View attachment 32453

I basically went the same route. I can already tell that when pack is full, the side compression straps will be to short for the RR, so will have to rig up more straps or use gear ties. Used small gear ties with compression straps for the Shikars and they are fairly solid on the sides. With empty pack it's at 15lb, heavy i know but it feels good. I did order a pack stiffener off of Amazon 20200824_155352.jpgthat slides in the bladder compartment for support, works well. It is poly and I had to cut to fit.
