Yes, that's the main thing. Minor benefits are that since it's thinner, it packs down a little bit smaller, and also since they are intended as arborist throwlines, they're coated with stuff that will keep if from snagging on bark and whatnot. Stretchy paracord will stretch instead of pull, so you have to put extra effort into pulling on a stuck rope. Low-stretch line will just pull.Is the benefit of Zingit or Dynaglide just that it doesn't stretch -- and so it is better for a pull-down rope. I'm still very new to this saddle stuff. Got a nice 9-point the first day I took my saddle up last year, which was great, but meant less practice.
