0. I’m a tight wad, Tasco(s) it is for me. Besides, all the areas I’m running my cams at the moment only have cell service for US Cellular, which I don’t think any cell cams are compatible with?

2 out, 2 out of commission. Finicky-ass things, those cell cams. Started two seasons ago and I have a love-mostly-hate relationship with them.
I have them out on my home property, mainly for security purposes. I can’t actually tell you a time when they helped me legitimately in the harvest of an animal. They’re great for patterning movement (not really better than a standard cam, just more convenient) and pegging down times to go hunt, and I like to keep track of predator activity in real-time (coyotes, feral cats, AND humans).

I have been running cheap Spypoints for 3 years? Maybe 2 years? for security purposes at the house. They come with 100 free pictures monthly. I stepped up to 1000 @ $10 a month.

I took a break from running cameras about two years ago. I wasn’t ready to make the leap to cell cameras. I found myself wanting to get in to my camera spots too often to pull the cards. I also would wait for “the one” after seeing it on camera and passing up other opportunities. So I just put my cameras up and decided to “hunt the sign”. I ain’t saying I’m done with cameras for ever, but it’s definitely been fun hunting spots and not having any idea what might step out.

I go back and forth on them as I have no problem getting deer on camera , even respectable bucks but the use never consistently increased daytime sightings , other than food plots or private pieces, where I have had more success just not hunting too often ( like 2x a month max)

I recently picked up a two pack of cell cams , similar to what has been said above, on small acreage that backs up to public . It’s weird, and I only have pics sent to an iPad , as I can check it when it’s convenient, not have my cell ping in real time.
The cell cams reinforce for me that there is no better shortcut than growing your own woodsmanship.

I do have 2 old cams that I’ll use in the off season , just to get pictures more or less or get a feeling for how many deer use a area of interest.

I’ve usually got anywhere from 8-12 out. About half on roads to catch poachers, the other half on wildlife. I have used 2-3 brands and have stuck with Moultrie the last few years.

16. Probably over 20 for next season. It's a sickness. This will be my 4th year now. Imo the most "game changing" product ever made. I've learned so much from them its mind boggling.
Certain habitats don't need them. Some do. Bucks around here don't leave alot a sign. I used to watch a lot of Infalt to try and understand big buck sign. None of what he see happens where I'm at. The only way for sure you know a big buck made that sign is you saw him with your own eyes or the camera did. There's rubs here waist high on big trees that I saw spikes make. I cannot hunt an area unless I know with certainty there's something there good to kill

3 out, 2 last year the third this year. Can't say I'm a good enough hunter to have learned anything from them lol. I keep thinking I should sell them but then yesterday I found a good trail I think I'll move one or two to see if I can get idea when they're going which way

I currently own four spy points, had 6 but gave two to my dad. I have 2 out on my property that I only hunt once or twice a year, one out as a security camera at a cabin I own and one I didn’t bother to put out.

I too hate subscriptions which is why I use Spy points. I usually don’t put them over food sources so the free 100 pics usually lasts me a month. If it doesn’t, I just wait until next month to start getting pics again.

I’ve never planned a hunt from their data, they’re more just to see what’s on my property. I have passed up buck X because I knew buck Y existed though.

This is my 4th year using them and 3rd year having three or four of them out. I get a pic dump twice a day at 8:00 and cheap dollar store batteries easily get me 100 pics a month from July-Jan. I know some have issues with Spypoints but I really can’t find any reason to complain about them.

I have 5-6 cams, 2 990i's that took a dump on me last year (5 ? years old)
Had a Moultrie cell cam (forget model right now) lasted 1 year and was replaced by Moultrie with an Edge (2nd year now ?) Running
Some no name IE: cheap running 3 years, finally crashed
Some Browning mico cam, 2-3 years running

Just 2 out since I only have my little 4ac now....maybe go door knocking again next year since I lost my honey hole (try new owners ?)

Looking at Wiseeyes cams... GREAT pics and vids...waiting for a good sale.

Moultrie Edge cameras will work!! The county I’m from only has US Cellular service and I’m running 5 of them currently! They are awesome cameras and very affordable!!

I keep buying regular ole trail cams. All I need is a card pull to show me a mature buck. I may move some cams around but the process of trying to figure out when and how is my jam. I don’t need my iPhone telling me here he comes or you big dummy, he’s at your other stand location.

Started 5 years ago with Bigfoot cell cams. Had 3 of them. They were in the woods on public land 365 days a year for 3 years. Loved them, they were wide view so they caught a huge range of movment. Unfortunaltey they were 3G and when ATT sunsetted their 3G service, those 3 cams became regular SD cams. They still work great though. So I bought 5 spy point micros. They've all been in the public woods 365 days per year for the last 2 years and going strong no issues. I now have a SPypoint flex and a Tactical reveal as well. I love these 2 cuz I can get videos sent straight to my phone. My sleep has suffered with these cuz Ill get a video of a large aggressive mature buck making a scrape and then having trouble falling asleep.

Thanks @Hutchison44. Another rural Virginian to the rescue. I am noticing a large increase in T-Mobile coverage through the rural areas over the past year. Verizon still very meh.

I only have 6 but want to get a few more and maybe a couple solar panels
