How many deer have you killed?

51 started bowhunting at 12. Have killed in CO, KY, MO along with home state of AR. Totals are 123 deer and 1 elk with a bow. 13 deer with ML and modern gun combined.

Made me a fleece saddle about half way into this season and #123 was first saddle deer.
 
I’m currently at 176 deer I have killed in my lifetime with a couple hunts left of this season. Started hunting when I was 10 and I’m 37 now. My harvest have came off private and public lands in Texas and have included MLD3 lands as well, hence why my average is over 5 deer a year. I have harvested deer from climbers, hang-on stands, box blinds and still hunting. This is my first year getting into saddle hunting and have yet to take a deer from a saddle but look forward to it within the next season. Not all of my hunting areas, are areas where you can use a saddle effectively due to lack of large enough trees. But I can definitely see its benefits where your environment allows it.

If I had to put a number on it I would say mid 50's that was taken while hunting like you are supposed too!!! Was a little wild when I was younger and me and my farmer buddies would go on sprees so really not sure but we have a meat farm that takes deer the farmers shoot and feeds the poor and homeless so we kept them busy!!!!
 
I’m 50 (as of yesterday).
Started hunting when I was 19.
I would guess close to 100 deer. About half with a bow, the other half spread between black powder, handgun and rifle.
Hunted and harvested in TN, GA, SC and NC.
Been saddle hunting exclusively for over a decade.
 
Never kept track, but kinda wished I had.

43 years old
Started at 12 (earliest you could hunt)
31 years hunting in PA and the last few I have also hunted Ohio.
A little bit of an educated guess, I would say that I am right around 100. SLowed down the last few years with killing doe though.
 
I guess this includes all killed legal and illegal? I killed an additional one with a car.
 
Not nearly as many as some of you. I've been hunting for around 20 years now. I was 11 when I took hunter's ed. But only hunted our two weeks of firearms for the longest time. Killed my first deer about three years in. Only hunted the weekends as well due to school. So that limited my chances. Got a muzzleloader about five years ago and a bow the year after. With the bow I can hunt from October 1st through the first weekend of January, pending work schedule and other obligations. That being said I've gone quite a few years getting skunked. Killed my first deer in three seasons this year. Don't even think I'm in double digits. Have had quite a few misses with my bow the past few seasons and I shot a buck last year with my bow but never recovered him. Going to work on gaining access to private spots close to home this year and scout on pubic well in advance. Also going to try to get in the habit of practicing weekly with my bow. So I'm not trying to get everything dialed in right before season starts. Not having spots picked out on public and driving to my brother's property three hours away puts a damper on my limited hunting time.

Where you're from/where you generally hunt- Middle Tennessee for both

And how many deer you've kilt!! 3 last year and 6 this year for a total of 9.

Making myself sick too, lol. The far left was about 12 years ago in GA. The other two were the same year, best year of my life obviously, haha. 150 from KY and 144 from OH. That was 3 years ago, Great memories but sure would like to seal the deal on another P&Y!

Little update for my season and “deer kilt”... since this thread I spent a lot of time thinking, backlogging and searching old photos so that I could start a harvest log book. Don’t remember what I said my number was on here but turned out that I was right at 50 (that I could document and fully remember)

Had a solid season and added 5 more. Great year in FL for me, killed 4 bucks, have one tag left but little free time. My out of state trip had me backstrap and lose a doe, shoot just under a 110ish 2.5 y/o, then killed a doe. Filled my two gator tags with a 10.5’ bobtail and a 9’. And go my my son his first kill (he missed a doe, unfortunately). Gonna try to squeeze another day or two in if I can before seasons gone, we’ll see. Hope everyone had a great season and worthy experiences, whether it be kills or just good time in the woods!
