Hunters anonymous: looking for help!

Hello everyone, names Michael. I'm here because I'm a hunt-aholic.
I grabbed a beer last night, only to almost throw up when I took the first sip because a bottle of tinks had leaked.......
I haven't cleaned my truck since the second week of September...
I have used 43 hours of sick pay, and 52 hours of annual leave to hunt deer this year....
I missed two of my nephews birthday parties because I was in the saddle both days....
I missed a dentist appointment and a dr appt because I went hunting instead....
I'm on SH, hunting beast and onx more than my wife is on facebook....
I had to donate 2 additional deer this year because my freezer was full of meat and 2 hides, and I had no room....
I've already began planning my winter scouting and areas i want to put cameras, and I still have 3 more tags/4 more weeks of late season hunting to finish, and i plan on hunting......
I have a real problem, I cant focus 50% of the time at work, not just during hunting season, but all year because I am thinking up new hunting plans...

Any one have any suggestions that can help overcome the obsession.....
Thank gawd it's not just me. The struggle is real.

Mike that’s hilarious! I’m in the same boat. My wife calls herself a hunting widow. However she has figured out that if she places a pair of shed antlers upon her head she will get my undivided attention!
My wife refers to herself as a hunting widow as well. A few years ago she said she didn't realize that it was a year long affliction. She knows now...

You don’t have a problem, you have a multitude of opportunities! Keep at it, do what gives you joy.

I “got out of” my nephew’s party by going hunting. My wife supports my addiction.

O and to anyone use their beer fridge to store scents, put it back in the Tupperware and close the bag.........

I accidentally grabbed my hunting gloves and put them in my EDC bag. I was sitting on the train hoping no one else could smell the piss scent coming from my backpack.

Wife said I need to get my priorities straight, I thought well I guess I dont need to turkey hunt anymore....

I struggle with not filling my deer tag and watching the small game season coming to a close!!!!! Do I grouse hunt? Do I deer hunt? The Seasons are about the same where I live.

Last time I went grouse hunting in street cloths I sat under a tree to take a break and a buck walked by 15 yards away!!!!

I go deer hunting and see grouse!!!

At least rabbit is open a couple more months and then I can concentrate on coyotes!

I refer to fishing as simply a methodone analog for my deer hunting addiction.

Luckily after 26 years my wife refers to deer hunting season as "her vacation". I'm still not sure what she is trying to say??? I guess it doesn't matter as long I get to hunt. :D

I like to hunt. Only out about 8 times this year. But my wife is more important and I have a job called farming. Hunting is important but so are other things - friends family faith
Just sayin because a few ex wives are mentioned, all because of hunting idolatry Don’t sacrifice your wife to the god of hunting

It’s good to have balance. I used to volunteer with a group and was out at least one day every weekend, sometimes both days. It almost ended my marriage. :-(

My Ex-wife told me the same thing :)
Haven't any of you guys heard of prenuptial agreements? Going into a marriage without full disclosure of your condition is unfair.
Of course if you develop the malady after you get married...…...…………….
