I usually see the most "Dumb activity" from the big bucks between the 15th and 25 around me. I've taken several 8 pointers Thanksgiving week and have had 2 different big bucks come out on my lawn with a doe on the 18th and 19th in back to back years. I've got a tree prepped and hope to be waiting to ambush one this year. I'll be able to smell breakfast cooking when I'm sitting there. Lol

But who cooking breakfast if you up the tree?
 
I'm flexing off Tuesday and Weds, possibly Monday afternoon.

I have to work about 3-4 full days total between the 1st and 15. Try to get it in when it's raining and/or above 50.

I still like the 8-15th window the best for our older bucks, but a cold snap now is almost as good.

I go into any hunt this time of year with the potential to sit all day. If I am amidst the action, I grind it out. If it's dead, I usually move around 2-3 PM. 10-2 (DST time) has historically been a good window for me. No bad time to be in a tree in November.
 
Last year my cams blew up on the 6th, 7th, and 8th. I was stuck at work the first two days being tortured by it. I managed to get the afternoon on the 8th and killed my buck then. Wasn't going to miss out again this year so took the 31st to 12th.
