Just doing some thinkin here...

Whoa....u fast. How were u able to try in such a short amount of time?
OK. I don't need it as in I need oxygen or food. I don't need a platform at all. I like to have a flat surface platform so I can stand up to rest my butt.

Here I am standing on the 45 degree edge. 20 second video.
Here I am using the flat top surface. :) 53 second video. Yeah, I know a little too long to watch to the end.

Ok...cool

To the original poster who wants to have an angle part....give what I recommend a shot...u may be surprised....the 90 degree part of the standing surface may or may not be needed....complicates the build process and will probably make u have to add extra weight ...the 1 in the picture posted IMO isn't very safe without adding gussets or fishplates....if u stand on the angled part all the stress is on the weld

Yeah. This is pretty much an individual preference issue. He did say he wanted a 45 degree angle section and a flat top section.

I thought I saw somewhere where some mounted a flat artisan and an angled scout to a stick? Seems like a great idea to me.

I made the angled one in previous pic. Yes second one i made i lessened the angle and did add some bracing. Both are solid and I am 260#. The angle makes a world of difference to me.
