Dawson knives are awesome. Made in the USA and veteran owned. Can carry cross draw or regular.
The huntsman is a really nice all around hunting knife. Cut a couple deer up so far with it. All I have had to do is strop it and perfect edge comes right back. I carry that and a javalina with me for skinning and quartering.I like the looks of these; I may have to try one out.

The javalina is really nice for skinning and quartering stuff like that. But the huntsman works good for that stuff too. I like having the point on the huntsman for splitting the pelvic bone. If I didn't split the pelvic I could probably get by with just the javalina. Hope that helps.I’ll probably place an order this week. I’m still debating between those 2 models.

I haven't seen it on there for a little while but camofire had cold steel Canadian belt knife for 10-12 bucks....I really like the way that this shape fits the hand. I've really become a fan of cold steelIf you haven't ordered yet look at the Canadian Belt Knife style of blade ,Grohmann #1 original is what I use.
The shape is "non-typical" but extremely effective, I have used one since the mid 70's, thanks grandpa.
Great for all needs when processing a deer .
Bark River knives also makes a very nice series called the Canadian Models, their steels are newer than Grohmann's.
It's on the Camofire website today, listed for just $10.99I haven't seen it on there for a little while but camofire had cold steel Canadian belt knife for 10-12 bucks....I really like the way that this shape fits the hand. I've really become a fan of cold steel
