Sweet mother of pearl, you just triggered my gun shop flashbacks! If I had a nickle for every jackalope who put me in crosshairs or settled a laser on me...

I'd have a sack full of nickles to beat the twits to death with! You shouldn't have to tell a grown man, "Do not point that shotgun at my other customers again."
 
Hope all turns out well. The big problem is there will always be a-holes in the world.
 
Wow that is awful, I had a close call with a laser from a Stryker but the most interesting incident was a guy shooting commercial grade fireworks at our helicopter on night flights (apparently he didn't think there would be noise on approach path to an airfield)...

Sorry to hear that buddy. But I can tell you, as a controller, as soon as the pilot tells us we report and I know the info gets padded on to law enforcement. I know of one report where they caught the people doing the lazing, not sure what happened after that. Anything that hinders or can cause damage to aviation is no joking matter. We take it very serious.
So hope that gives a little more insight.
And I truly hope you have a speedy recovery.

Not a pilot, but I did read Stick and Rudder just in case I’m ever in a plane and my pilot dies. I like to be prepared.

Oh yeah, glad the f-sticks didn’t ruin your career with their stupidity.

GOOD LAWD! I’m glad your eyes checked out ok, but the damage that lazer done to your face is unspeakable. I hope they catch those sorry SOB’s and they rot in jail. How can anyone do such a thing to someone’s face. This world is going down the crapper fast!

Yeah, I keep waiting for some well televised FBI raids and domestic terrorism charges. I'm afraid that's what it's gonna take to impress it apon the idiots that think it's no big deal. Idiots can learn. All you have to do is look how fast Ariana Grande's nude pictures disappeared as soon as her lawyer mentioned she was underage at the time. Same class of idiots. They just need to be scared into making good choices.
