Latitude Carbon Sticks - Saddle Attachment Method?

Wow.. none of this makes sense. They must be making some coin if all these other places are picking them up. Are they made in the states? Sorry if I missed that part earlier.
I'll wait for you guys to really out them thru the paces. If they are that great, I bet you will see tons more coming next year from the other guys.

I thought I saw they were manufactured in Michigan. My only issue was that I need sticks and they were pretty vague in communicating when exactly they were coming out. Mack’s had them in stock for the same price.

Originally somewhere out west I thought they said last weekend at the Expo, but now there and Michigan. Sounds like the main delay was Michigan took longer to get up and running than anticipated.

I ordered mine may 21 and still haven't got a tracking number. They've pushed back the delivery dates each month since. At this point I'm starting to wonder if I will get them now...

I love how we bash China and big hunting conglomerates.

Then we buy sticks from “the little guy.”

Then the second we don’t get brand new first time technology delivered to us exactly when we want it, because the little guy has no idea how to run retail small business, we cancel the order and buy the gear from a box store to save 15.00.

The irony here isn’t lost on me.

Latitude has China made products btw

Just for info, when I canceled my order, Latitude actually answered(I had sent 3 unanswered messages). They told me my order would have been shipped next week. I ordered on February 28.

So I think your comment is a little off the mark. First off, Latitude has already been in the business of delivering goods, this is not their first rodeo. Secondly, guys put up money in February to get prepared for upcoming season, yet it appears a majority still don't have anything to show for it. That leads to point three. Now I find that I can cancel my order with Latitude directly (who BTW is still giving somewhat vague shipping dates for product already paid for) and buy from a second hand retailer AND have it shipped right away.

I'm not seeing any irony, or impatience. I'm seeing folks who would like to have their stuff that have already exhibited quite a bit of patience. The bonus is that second hand retailer then offering a 15% off on top of that.

A man is only as good as his word. Seems that went out the window a long time ago.

My point was just that maybe the big guy is better at some things than the little guy. Everyone always assumes the little guy is best. This silliness points to that not being true sometimes.

We can appreciate small business and the good ole boy living the American dream, without lionizing them.

The big guy can give you your product for 50.00 less sometimes because he has bigger motivations.

The little guy can give you a whole bunch of grief sometimes because of bad incentives or complete lack of understanding of how to run a business.

I've sent them a few emails, including one yesterday. They've responded to each one, which I appreciate. They have acknowledged that they've made a few mistakes scaling this product up, said they'd learn from it, and thanked me for my patience. None of which was really necessary (and on the other hand, doesn't really get any closer to "solving" the issue of not having shipped out yet), but I did at least appreciate the effort to placate. I dunno, likely in a month this will all be a somewhat distant memory

Following this precept, we should be blaming the manufacturer for failing to meet it's deadline. And it can roll downhill from there.

If Latitude took your money and went to the Caymens, that'd be something to squawk about. I wonder how much of their own finances they put on the line here?

If you wanted your money back, they've been good about returning it at any point so far I know.

But if you want the sticks, you're waiting for the manufacturer, not Latitude.

By that precept.

I wonder how much of this " be patient with _____" has to do with your standing in the world. Those at the top of the hill seem like they'd have a lot more patience. I happen to be at the bottom of the hill, so get to catch crap from all 97 people above me on said hill that crap rolls down. I've got zero patience with missed dates, trust me if I am a little off it's not " let's be patient ".

I've also called b.s. in production meetings. It's going to take 500 hours, you're allowing for 125 hours. It's NOT going to be done. You know what the response has been??? Shut your truth hole!

Rant over. Not terribly sorry. Forget latitude. I hold companies accountable the same way they hold me accountable. When I agree to price x delivered by date y I expect it to happen
