Latitude Carbon Sticks - Saddle Attachment Method?

How creaky are they? Saw several complaints about the noise they make on the tree.
I also used them today whilst redneck engineering a 2 person ladder stand into a tree. I was standing on them pulling the stand up in to the tree,so they were supporting my weight (205) and a 2 person ladder stand on the tabs that supposedly broke. I’m calling bs on that one.

I got this message yesterday from latitude pertaining to if the big box stores prepaid or not. According to them, many of them did. I have no problem with them shipping to the people who placed and paid for orders first, whether its civilians or stores. Any manufacturing issues are out of their hands. I would like to know how many sticks weren't pre paid and still got shipped out first.

As far as your seconded question, many dealers actually placed and paid for orders for the sticks in 2022 when we thought they were originally going to be released. Ultimately the goal was to send out all orders within a 2 week window (pre-orders and dealer orders from 2022) to avoid the issue we are running into right now. Because of the delays on the manufacturing side we were forced to make a tough decision, a decision we will learn from moving forward.

Played with my sticks today as well. There is definitely a squeak on a telephone pole but still not horrible but not great when setting the stick. Put on an oak and had no noise

Is that a point .5? I'm curious how they stack on a .5?

Hopefully that means my June 24th order is about to ship.

I ordered in May and haven't heard anything. Hopefully they'll show up soon.

I got an automated "leave us a good review and you'll be entered for 100 dollar raffle" email today. I doubt they would publish what I have to say lol so saying it here instead. I like the sticks as a product, remain cautiously optimistic that the failures were flukes, and aren't repeated but keeping my ears open and likely will use them this year if I don't want to one stick, but continued to be disappointed in the company's customer service/practices and feel like a sucker for giving them a loan. I suppose it is what it is and this is what happens then the "little guys" go big. My next saddle will be from one of the micro shops represented on here, I've been eyeing the woods lineup for a bit, so perhaps it's time to relegate the OG method to the backup bin.

I caved on a set of Tethrd Ones in the classifieds and cancelled my order with latitude.

As more positive season long reviews came in on the gen 3s, I felt comfortable making the switch. The higher price difference was easily offset by my confidence in the quality. I will miss the stacking though, not that the ones stack terribly, the SS’s are just so sleek.

My commitment going forward is to not purchase the 1st gen of anything. We’ll see how long that lasts.
