Latitude Method. Any users?

I haven’t spent a lot of time in the Method aside from hanging in the yard today. Gonna give it a few hunts before I form an opinion but it seems very well made. I really like the oplux bridge. I think that’s the ticket. Best bridge I have tried. Good amount of adjustment. The leg loops suck attaching and removing so those are coming off. The bottom panel moves a bit but the top one seems to settle into the same spot all the time. Gotta mess with it more.

I was not a fan of the ESS. I also got a recon sling to compare the two. I was more comfortable in the recon. I was able to move then panels into the proper position better. I like the plates of the recon more than the big clunky Drings on the ESS. I also liked how the leg loops were optional. I preferred the mollie loops on the recon.

Between the ESS, Recon and Method. I think the method is a bit more unique. I found it moderately comfortable in the yard but I found the recon to be easier to reposition for immediate comfort again. I like the way the method holds the panels together for walking. The clips seem to work fantastic. The ESS came with similar clips that worked not as well and my recon didn’t come with anything. If I didn’t have a large ass I don’t know if I could walk in the recon the way it comes. I am sure something can be rigged with the leg loops. Not sure. There wasn’t any directions. I like that the recon comes with a dump pouch also and it’s only $150.

that’s just my 2 cents

I was just on the Latitude website and they will be selling the clips that hold the panels together for $10...put them on your Recon and you'll be all set.

I was thinking of using some paracord loops on the top strap of the Recon and run my opulx tether through them as a belt similar to the Method to try it out. If it works well on the Recon I would sew in a webbing strap onto the Recon to run the belt through like the Method.

I put these ^ on my recon to hold the panels together and they’re $0.29. Work great.

You won’t be disappointed...I hope lol. Everyone’s different but I traded my Cruzr xc for a method and won’t look back. The xc is an awesome saddle but the method, to me, is more comfortable bc there’s so much more adjustment.

I one-stick climb predominantly, and occasionally will SRT. I’m anxious to see how a two-panel saddle will work out.

I one stick and rappel, it’s super comfortable. The way the 2 panels sit you basically feel like your in a seat while descending. I don’t use the leg straps either. The recon would tend to get super tight on my back while doing this bc the two panels adjust off of each other but the method is much better suited for this type of climbing imo.

I am. It’s not completely uncomfortable but I am not sure I can call it super comfortable either. I haven’t spent enough time in it.
My current saddles are the Flex and Cruzr XC as well as the JX3. I have a Method on order. Hoping it works out. I really like the buckleless option and travel mode. Looks really comfortable deployed as well, just hoping that’s true for my size frame.
