Really thinking hard on pulling the trigger on a new Saddle and thinking Method 2 by Latitude. I currently have a 4 year old Aero Hunter Kestrel single panel.

Anyone else going down this path and if so what are you getting and what reason won the day.

For me the Method 2 rope belt and adjustable bridge and saddle pinch adjustments won the day. Price …not so much that is delaying me.

I have Cruzr Xc and i love it, 8 hour sit it in this year several times and no problem. Only one I have tried yet though. Saying that the Method 2 is the only saddle out right now that really interests me only because I enjoy mine so much now.

Main reason would be I wanna try a two panel saddle. I like my XC and back band but I feel a Two panel is that plus more comfort and could even probably add a backband for even more comfort. Following this thread for sure.

I'm heading down this path, yup.... current rocking a Tethrd Phantom but the two panel saddle seems like it'd be significantly more comfortable. Also I walk a ways in and it ALWAYS loosens up and slips down... The metal free aspect really speaks to me too.

I went from a Phantom to a metal free Method, one of the best decisions I've made for saddle hunting.

Love my method 2 incredible comfort! No buckles very quite, only down fall : magnets work great until you start hanging steps, platform etc from Molle seems to drop bottom half. That would be my only complaint. But comfort score A

Don’t think u will be disappointed…..I feel latitude makes a good product. Their dump pouches is simple and nice. Everything about the method 2 just works.

Had the ess and picked up method 2, sold out the method 2 great saddle but I’m a ROS setter at 45 angle ess was more comfortable

You won’t go wrong with the method 2, it opened up a whole new world of comfort for me when it comes to saddle hunting.

initially the metal free really had me jazzed too but I tried to slow myself down and ask …now wait what is the purpose of the belt will it do its job of giving me safety over the traditional belt …my answer was yes I think it will as long as the sewing is good for that tunnel it is contained in

I walk pretty far in too or at least I am not opposed to doing it because I bought a frame pack to quarter them out.

I am gonna buy the straps just in case I am not sure I want the 2nd panel but I can run it both ways and everybody says the 2nd panel is great so we’ll see
