Leg feet platform climb as you go


This is pretty slick
This is exactly what I'm going to do using the bottom part of my climbing stand. 10 lbs is worth it to me. Because it eliminates the monkey motion of steps, aiders, and platforms. Does both climb and platform.
 
You need a treesuit platform. They're a small platform that doubled as a climber. I've built several of them and so has plenty of others on here
 
I just had an old aluminum climber so used the bottom part of it. To me this is the best solution. Not ultralight weight but it is much easier and safer. See my earlier post. I just added pictures.

There use to be a company maker of the Treesuit that had a small platform that was use to climb the tree. I still have my Treesuit but I never bought the climbing platform.
 
a Summit viper platform would work also. But they do not do well on trees less than 9" in diameter

Shot a doe this way last year. Should be perfectly fine.
