Well we made it out of the marsh. Apparently I’m hard on @donnieballgame. Leaving at 4:30 am tomorrow. I guess I better catch a few hours sleep. Pumped for the spot I’m hunting in the morning!
 
Bad service. @donnieballgame and I had one run in front of my truck when we left the campground this morning lol. I’ve had a stag bugle twice within 100 yards of me and a hind talking at 50 but can’t see either. Two guys just went crashing out past me into the marsh this spot is probably done but I appreciated the drive.

In other news my dad just shot a big 5 point back home. Looks like team 1 finally has something to trash talk about.

Back is doing really well, problem is I'm out of shape, core legs everything and trying to jump right into it 5 weeks after back surgery is....tough. I think I'm done hunting this morning was pretty rough and I dont want to push too hard.

I probably would have made it 5 if I knew @huck72412 wasn’t going to be there. I might’ve actually won a game of corn hole and gotten some sleep before the next mornings hunt.
I hope y’all get one this evening. I know Donnie said he’s about done but @Jcar will keep y’all from getting too lazy and spending too much time in camp.
 
I hunted Chincoteague on the VA side this morning. Had 40 bow hunters in the swamps and only four were harvested (three bulls and a hind).
