At least you’re still getting him on camera. The bucks on the private I hunt went AWOL.

That's why I try to leave their sanctuarys alone. Im sure this guy is held up in some MTN laurel 1/3 from the top of this cliff. When I get pics of him at sunset he's always coming from that direction.
Long as I don't break in there and hunt the perimeter they seem to stick around.
Theres another really nice heavy 8 up here that I tried to get right in his bedding area. The wind shafted me on that hunt and hes gone totally underground now.

Yeah I didn’t push it at all and definitely wasn’t in their bedding as that’s on An adjacent private piece next to the private and public I hunt. I did feel some relief this am as one of the shooters was on camera in the evening last night in the private I hunt. Thankfully.

I followed for 150 then stopped. Trail is heavy, but I don't like what I see. I was almost positive I missed. I have a lighted nock and it was real low. If anything I just zipped him open. My fletchings had no blood on them whatsoever

Huh. Clean fletching is weird and 150 yards of blood like that would give me hope, at least on a deer. Keep us posted.
 
Seems like he should be close, that looks like artery or heart blood to me

That blows about the bike. Did the chain break. I’ve had chains slip off before you can’t put it back on?
