yep I've been running this rope for 3 years now and I got dogged out so bad on this site for using it I just shut up about it. Amazing how things come around. I used it just last evening. Don't tell anybody but it works with the safeguard for me but I'm light. I use it to let my 10 year old down on an eight and then me on the safeguard.

@Chrighton and @hokiehunter are correct. TX5 made me a custom one with two attachment points because I run a Dryad saddle. The lower one attaches to my killdeer harness and the top one is for the bridge. I like the redundancy. I really like it for a tether but I’m still hesitant to use that same smaller diameter for a lineman’s belt since it is getting abused more. But for a tether, I really really like it.

I use it for both as well as a rappel rope. This is my third year. The rappel rope is showing some wear on the outer sheath is all.

Really? Not to pick at old scars but why? I don't see anything wrong with the setup.

it was new and nobody was using it but me, that I could find. In my opinion the hitch cord is the issue not the rope. The rope is plenty strong but finding a cord that works well down to that small of a diameter was an issue for me.

Marsh again. Chilly, damp morning made my access super quiet. Got up the tree at 8. So far nothing…

Excited for this one. This ol boy has been hitting this scrape every single night for 4 days now. Didn't care too much until he was there in daylight. Somehow the wind gods have blessed me with a perfect wind. Here goes nothing View attachment 92937View attachment 92938View attachment 92939
You ought to name that buck Socks. Look at his hoofs, maybe its the lighting but it looks like he has light hoofs or whitish hair around all of his hooves. Neat!

Neat. One of those bucks we have history with. I continually hunted him last season. Had tons of pictures of him in daylight but I couldn't seem to connect with him.
What's fascinating is I had him in daylight the day before rifle season opened. The first day we had a ton of guys hunting the adjacent private and all over the public where I was getting the pics. Nobody saw him. And never had him on cam the rest of the year.

It’s been a beautiful morning. A spiker came in. Fresh scrape and a decent fresh made rub.

Walked 4 hrs today looking for fresh sign. Couldn't find anything I liked. Ended up set up in a known good spot, but I'm not real confident and getting kinda hungry... Haven't had Chinese in awhile..
That daylighting ten never came in yesterday?

No. 2 spike and 2 doe. He came around midnight after I left. He's a smart boy.
Where I'm generally confident he's held up is unhuntable the next couple of days with the winds we're getting.

Edit. Just got the pics. He was there not 2 hrs ago. This deer is just screwing with me at this point. Screenshot_20231019_050345_Reveal.jpg
