Anyone have any pics of a lone wolf 32” climbing stick they have cut down and made a one stick out of with or without a platform. Also with a Harken cam cleat

I cut mine to the 20 inch I think it was like most guys are doing on yt I have two of them with aiders and probably will be taking those off. I think there more of a pain than there worth. There not bad in early season but later with more clothes and boots and cold they can be a challenge in the dark. Fours 20 inch sticks is plenty high enough with a saddle or a stand in most cases

I cut my down to make 4 novix length sticks and I didn’t like them at all. It made them a lot less stable. If I was going to use sticks again they would be the 32” LWs and I wouldn’t cut them down.

They will do fine as a one stick without changing anything but work even better with a one or two step aider added.

I used the post and I did cut it down for a one stick about 18” and I added EWO standoffs, a scout platform, and a double step on the bottom with a 3 step aider and it worksreally well.

Old pictures but I still have it and it works well. Sorry I’ve never used the harken cam. Cutting Down My LW Sticks!

Done before but I’m throwing up what I’m doing. Nothing ground breaking here, but fun to share. I’m taking 3 full length sticks and cutting them down to two steps. I’m going to keep the original stick spacing of about 15.5”. I picked up two more brackets and a post and will make a 4th stick...

I did not make a one stick. But I have cut down several to make mini Novix sticks. I love them. I use a Amsteel daisy with a truckers hitch and they are solid. I am 230 lbs and I have not had a issue.
