Some of us would be better served using that money we spend on "new UNECESSARY Toys" on gas, scouting, Out of State trips, etc......
But new shiny gear is so much fun!

I hope they have that saddle platform at ATA tomorrow. I want to finger bang it hard.

I figured it would be just a matter of time before someone jumped back in with the assassin. However, unless it has ratings & strengths like what @Erniepower designed with the Predator I will not consider it. Definitely going to look at it.
Why do you think I have multiple tubs full of saddle gearBut new shiny gear is so much fun!
I suspect that a few people out there knew this was coming, especially the guy who sold the one on AT. I've seen more assassins for sale in the past week than in the entire 2018.Haha, I like that we are getting options. These guys who just sold assassins for $500-700 got lucky, those who bought....

$1, Bob
think those people were genius. Essentially they just took advantage of knowing what they had was about to significantly reduce in value. Let's assume the buyer didn't know that. lol.Haha, I like that we are getting options. These guys who just sold assassins for $500-700 got lucky, those who bought.... Well yeah... I remember when old trophylines we're selling for $400-500, klemz we're selling for $250. It's the good age should we all stock up now, or are they going to think up some stuff in the next 10 years that puts this all to shame? Anti gravity? Haha

I like that stand iff to the left too...

From what I can see, I like that more than the windwalker. Dang it.The video I just saw says the full size stand is 7.5# and the short sticks are 1.5# each I assume without the straps.
The width vs. Depth issue (and rounded corners) was a lot of what really drove a negative impression of that other new platform for me. "Why is this the wrong shape?".I like that stand iff to the left too...
Interesting that it's wider. I'd be interested to see more of a half moon design that wrapped the tree a little. @kyler1945 and I had a conversation about that a while back. You don't need a "deep" platform. Side-to-side real estate us more valuable IMO.
No thanks. My buddy is there he the platform is going to cost 400$ and weigh 5# ...
Exactly what I said ..No thanks.
I'm curious to see if this holds true. I can see the weight, but unless that number is MSRP, I think it's high.My buddy is there he the platform is going to cost 400$ and weigh 5# ...
