I figured it would be just a matter of time before someone jumped back in with the assassin. However, unless it has ratings & strengths like what @Erniepower designed with the Predator I will not consider it. Definitely going to look at it.

I suspect that a few people out there knew this was coming, especially the guy who sold the one on AT. I've seen more assassins for sale in the past week than in the entire 2018.
 
Its gonna be a couple very interesting days! This is fun to watch even from the computer screen.

think those people were genius. Essentially they just took advantage of knowing what they had was about to significantly reduce in value. Let's assume the buyer didn't know that. lol.
 
I'd like to see a weight on the new platform. I don't necessarily feel like I need a bigger platform than the Predator, but would be cool to try something different.

The standoff on that short stick looks like it would give you great toe room on the tree. Please tell me one of you though to bring a fish scale to weigh stuff you see...lol.

I like that stand iff to the left too...

Interesting that it's wider. I'd be interested to see more of a half moon design that wrapped the tree a little. @kyler1945 and I had a conversation about that a while back. You don't need a "deep" platform. Side-to-side real estate us more valuable IMO.
 
The coolest thing I have seen with the new sticks and stand is that the sticks side stack and then attach to those round holes in the platform so it can all be carried without bungees etc. Looks like the saddle platform has the holes too

The width vs. Depth issue (and rounded corners) was a lot of what really drove a negative impression of that other new platform for me. "Why is this the wrong shape?".
