Lone wolf handclimber/ Saddle combo Part 3

One important note when climbing with this method I found and observed on video is to lift up on your heals to help the band from dragging up tree.
First time I struggled is because I dragged the base up the tree and did not lift heels to assist.

Now this may be a dumb question....but just remember I'm new to this... What is an OCB strap that people are talking about using to fasten the HC when they get to the height they want to us it as a platform?

Where did you get the base from? I do not see it on DanO’s site. That setup reminds me of my old LoggyBayou climber that you could also use as a hang on and/or secure the stand at height

Ha!!

@Punkin78 , I just asked a welder friend of mine to come up with the same solution so that I could have a hybrid lwhc-climber klemz platform so I could cam over the platform....

Just was trying to surf the boards to get an idea how far the post should be from the toothy edge

More pics!

The complete top so you get the seat cushion too if you want to use it for your knees

How much are the button platform? If you guys want more stability the bottom part would be a little bit bigger but the trade off is better for stability. A little larger but still more light weight once your chop the half off. It also has the post bracket on there to convert over to a predator type platform. I Love spending your guys money. Hahaha

Would the klems bracket get in the way when climbing? It seems like it wouldnt be able to tilt.
